Non tutti sanno che in Windows Vista e Windows 7 si può aprire un prompt dei comandi come Administrator.

Alcune operazioni da riga comandi non possono essere fatte nonostante l'utente corrente ha i diritti di amministratore. Spesso si ricevono errori non facilmente interpretabili.

Personalmente mi è capitata l'esigenza di dover registrare un file OCX e dopo aver dato il comando srvreg32 ricevevo il seguente messaggio di errore:

 "Regsvr32 fails with error 0x8002801c"

Cercando su internet ho trovato questa risposta da che mi ha fatto capire che dovevo eseguire il comando come Administrator.

This error means that regsvr32 was not able to access and/or update the registry.
Check the permissions on the part of the registry where access is denied.
You can run regmon to manually fix the registry...
NEL MIO CASO E' BASTATO APRIRE UN PROMPT COME ADMISTRATOR!

Bene, se volete aprire un prompt dei comandi come "Administrator" procedete come segue:

START -> ESEGUI -> CMD

quindi premere i tasti

CTRL + MAIUS + INVIO

Notate che il titolo della finestra del prompt dei comandi deve riportare "Amministratore..."

 

 

Esiste anche il comando RUNAS che vi permette di eseguire un programma con un utente diverso da quello con cui vi siete collegati a windows. Ad esempio per aprire un nuovo prompt come administrator potete digitare  runas /user:administrator cmd.
