Recently the windows features SentTo Mail Recipient stopped working on my computer.
I am refering to the windows feature to send a file via e-Mail :
- right click on the file to send
- from context menu SendTo and then Mail Recipient
ERROR
The error message was something similar to
Unable to use lotus notes as default e-mail program.
I my case the DLL MSVCR71.DLL was not found and I suppose in the windows path because I had a copy out of the windows folders (Lotus Notes Client)
SOLUTION
Search this DLL on you PC and copy it in C:\Windows\system32 or C:\Windows\SysWOW64 if your Windows is a 64 bit.
